Our Story
In 2025, Dennis and Debbie took a meaningful step toward a long-held dream—purchasing a piece of land in East Texas that would become both their farm and their future retirement home. What began as a vision has quickly turned into a labor of love, built with their own hands and guided by a shared passion for the land and a simpler, more intentional way of living.
Since acquiring the property, they have been actively shaping it into what they call The Dragon’s Rest—a place of peace, resilience, and renewal. Every project, from clearing land to building and planning, reflects their commitment to creating not just a home, but a lasting legacy.
For Dennis and Debbie, this journey is about more than retirement. It’s about stewardship, self-reliance, and building something meaningful together.
